Night Owl is an opportunity to help the still suffering alcoholic. You can answer the phones in the office, or at your home. It is a very big deal for you or your group to sign up for one of these shifts. Is it a fantastic way to be of service to AA, and it helps the Intergroup office financially, because until June 2005, we had to have a contract with a non-alcoholic answering service to answer on our behalf when a shift stood open. Because of continuing involvement of groups and individuals, this expense has been eliminated. However, we can't sit back and rest on our laurels, because we must now commit to continually covering all the shifts of the month with volunteers.
