  • Looking for a Short Term Service Commitment?

    Service-Opportunity Volunteer Coordinators are needed immediately.  Help establish regularly scheduled AA meetings in the Behavioral Health Department of Regions Hospital.

    District 8 Treatment Committee is looking for five individuals to take on a short-term service commitment to find one AA group willing to take a monthly AA meeting to Regions Hospital.

    Five individuals fulfilling this short-term assignment would fill the need for a weekly AA meeting in the Regions Behavioral Health Department.

  • District 8's DUI Program is looking for volunteers to lead AA Information meetings for DUI offenders in Ramsey County.
    Starting in October, need volunteers for:

    1. Tuesday nights 6:00 PM for 12 weeks>
    2. Thursday nights, 6:00 PM for 12 weeks

  • The Living Sober Newcomers meeting is held at the Dorothy Day shelter downtown, Saturdays at 2:30 PM.  The are requesting support, especially a few individuals who can attend regularly, and serve as officers/trusted servants for the group.  Please call the office for additional information.  This meeting is an ideal place to have regular contact with those deeply affected by our disease.  Entered: 24-Jun-2011
